A Walk Through Irrelevance

A Walk Through Irrelevance maps the connections between childhood memories, inherited narratives of the past and unknown histories contained within a personal photographic archive. As the first instance of my doctoral research into the transmission of the Francoist past, this series examines the power of material memory, especially objects considered irrelevant., reconnecting them with the village, its past and present, as well as absent memories within family and history.
